THE VALEW STORY

1950s

In 1954 John H Hayes and his two sons, John R. and Vernon L. Hayes, started a company named Hayes Welding in Paramount, California. The business consisted of John H. and his two sons performing welding and miscellaneous repairs for the oil field industry.

1970s

By the early 1970’s, John H. and John R. both retired from Hayes Welding. Vernon Hayes grew tired of the constant traveling involved in oil field repair leading him to begin building products Valew is now known for.
